Dr. Barnes is the owner and founder of Michelle Barnes OD PC, serving Hollidaysburg, and surrounding areas. Dr. Barnes earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College and her Doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University. She is a longstanding member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In 2013, her peers selected Dr. Barnes as the Mid-Counties POA Optometrist of the Year. Since 2006, Dr. Barnes has been an active staff member and the vision therapy consultant for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Altoona. She frequently lectures and provides education and training on vision therapy.
